Hand-knotted rugs are woven knot by knot on a loom — the finest and longest-lasting construction. Hand-tufted rugs are made by punching yarn into a backing, which allows carved relief detail and suits larger areas. Imexart produces both.

Every rug is handmade by master weavers in partner workshops across China, India and Nepal, through enduring relationships built over three decades. Production in China is closely controlled by our office team, and every rug is finished to each client’s specification.
